1.抗癌药物及其多药耐药的化学和机理研究。
2.具抗癌活性的新的天然产物成分（生物碱、萜类、甾体皂苷，尤其是国产乌头属和翠雀属生物碱）的分离、结构阐明及其合成；
3.天然产物化学在我国西南省区生物多样性保护、经济发展和药物开发方面的研究
