周京博士是美国莱斯大学琼斯商学院休斯敦捐赠基金管理学讲席教授,终身教授,亚洲管理科研和教学事务总监,曾任负责教授晋升和终身荣誉授予的评估委员会主席。是清华大学经管学院杰出访问讲席教授。获美国伊利诺伊大学(厄巴纳香槟)的组织行为学和人力资源管理博士学位。

人物经历

周京教授是国际管理学界有关企业领导力,创造力、创新与创业等领域颇具影响力的学者之一。她研究整合了动机、情感与认知理论,对企业中个体和团队的创新进行全面、深入的理解。系统研究了创造力和创新的关键问题,包括:领导、管理者风格、同事行为、反馈,团队机制等组织、情境因素与人格、价值观、目标导向等个体因素是如何相互作用来提升或限制个体和团队创造力的。她诸多研究成果发表在国际顶级学术期刊上,包括:Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management与Personnel Psychology。她的论文荣获 Journal of Management (管理学报) 最佳论文奖。现任或曾任国际顶级学术期刊Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Journal of Management编委会成员(Editorial Board member)。她与Shalley教授合作的英文专著 Handbook of Organizational Creativity (企业创造力管理全书),是领导企业创造力和创新的权威著作,已被翻译成中文和阿拉伯文。 应Oxford University Press邀请,正在和Shalley和Hitt教授联合主编 Oxford Handbook of Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship。

从2008-2014年,任国际管理学界最顶尖级学术研究期刊《应用心理学》的副主编,是该顶尖级学术期刊自1917年首发刊以来,93年的历史上获此殊荣的第一位来自中国大陆的学者。

周教授为Executive MBA (EMBA), MBA, 和博士等讲授领导力,组织行为学,创造力与创新管理,谈判,人力资源,跨文化领导力以及全球领导力等课程,并执教于管理学EDP项目。由于在研究和教学工作中的突出成绩,她获得了几项重要的研究和教学奖,包括 德克萨斯A&M大学最著名的奖项―校友协会杰出教学奖。

曾任国际商业协会(Academy of International Business)组织行为/人力资源分会主席 (Chair, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management)。2010-2012年,任国际中国管理研究学会主席 (President); 2012-2014年, 任国际中国管理研究学会Past President (负责战略制定strategic planning,文化建设culture building,和领导梯队选拔leadership succession)。

曾在亚洲,欧洲,和美洲的多家企业做过咨询或管理顾问。并曾在中国多所著名商学院任访问或特聘教授。除本专业工作外,周教授积极为社会服务。曾任著名私立学校Post Oak School校董。

2010 和2011年,周教授分别当选美国工业和组织管理心理学学会 (Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology) 的 Fellow, 以及美国心理学学会(American Psychological Association)的 Fellow,这是授予全世界在管理学和组织管理心理学领域做出杰出贡献的学者的最高荣誉。
