人物生平
Luke Thompson的家在新西兰港市陶朗加，成长于芒格努伊山的白色沙滩，沐浴着盛夏的阳光，Luke冲浪、游泳并不断完善着自己的吉他弹奏技巧。Luke 7岁开始写歌，高中毕业后，获得了Rockquest奖学金并前往Hamilton，在Waikato Institute of Technology开始自己的音乐与歌曲写作的学习生涯，并在2004年获得媒体艺术学学士学位（Bachelor of Media Arts）。
22岁时，其单曲Morning Light入围新西兰广播电台前40名，这支单曲同时还入围了2006年Juice TV Awards的最佳独唱歌手。

I want to give these songs the best start in life they can get, I want people to hear them and hopefully connect with them. Lately I have come to realize that I donu2019t make music for money… Sometimes I make money from music, but itu2019s not why I make music. Itu2019s not the main reward. The main reward is when someone shares with me how they connected with a song, or felt the same way I did. Thatu2019s when I feel most useful as a person.
